Gerardo Semprebon (Politecnico di Milano, DAStu) discussed his latest book "Fragile Heritage in Chinese Ruralities" with Silvia Lanteri (Politecnico di Torino) and Lidia Preti (Politecnico di Torino).

The event was moderated by Sofia Leoni (PhD candidate, XXXVIII cycle - URD) and Valentina Labriola (XXXVIII cycle, Joint Ph.D. program between Politecnico di Torino and Tsinghua University).

After being a TA, I created an online collection of the works produced during the collaborative POLIMI-BUCEA class, taught by Professors Luca Maria Francesco Fabris and Massimo Mobilia in Italy and Professor Li Mengyixin in China.

After a series of lectures promoted by teachers and international professionals, both POLIMI and BUCEA students reworked the proposed concepts through an exercise that aims to show the multilayered connotation of design action. Through a noun definition, the students focused on a "present-past-future" lens as a logical clue in four training steps:

1) screening of landscape keywords;

2) etymological analysis;

3) historical evolution

4) future scenarios.
